Hillary Had Her A$$ Handed To Her.....

....Last night in SC.......I would say a loss by greater than 2 to 1 is having your A$$ handed to you on a silver platter.

I hope she is learning some lessons along the way.

Edwards will continue to run at a nice pace..

2. If Edwards continuers to be number three, what happens to his delgates
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 06:45 PM by truedelphi
What will happen to his delegates?

Do they remain his until number two succumbs to number one?

Or do they flip over to number one or number two at the flip of a coin, before the clear winner is so designated??

4. Whether or not I agree with you aside, I don't think starting this
kind of thread moves the debate forward at all. You've merely stated the obvious, but you haven't said who you support, and why we should support your choice? Not a Hillary fan, but I just think this is flame-bait.

13. While I may agree that these threads are pointless, I disagree with
your attempt to dismiss Sen. Obama's rout in SC. As you & I both know, he did very well in nearly all demographics, and tied HRC in white males. I've noticed that this is the rhetoric coming from the Clinton supporters, and it is just as unattractive. As for putting on the brakes...why shouldn't they be allowed to revel in their victory, just as Clintonites did after NH and NV? It's all about tone, and the tone of the OP is just inflammatory.

Do tell!
I've been to South Carolina, and it was NOT "Mostly Black".

Lets take a look at the census figures.
As a Hillary supporter, you may want to avert your eyes so you can stay in the land of (racist?) delusion.

http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/45000.html

It is REALLY EASY to check these things.
Why continue to spread LIES that are so easy to discredit.
It doesn't reflect well on you or your candidate.

You should post a retraction and an apology.

It's the meme that Clinton has put out there, and it's being parroted here on DU. She used to be one of my favorite posters. I always thought she was witty & insightful, but alas, she's just another mudslinger, ala Bill Clinton.

ain't gonna get a retraction from me.

And I don't sling half as much mud as the "Obama is the second coming" contingent here on DU.

I don't know why you people keep yelling that Clinton put some kind of bug in people's ears.

I have my own thoughts and beliefs.

I'm an Edwards supporter, through and through. Why the fuck would I use something that the Clintons "supposedly" said or distributed about Obama? I'm worried about my own candidate.

And SC is mighty black. Period.

Even though it's an open primary, we can expect that most of the voters in the Democratic primary were registered Democrats. What proportion of that 68.5% is Republican?

stating the absolutely incredibly obvious just for effect and to get others pissed off and start wars.

Let's all take it easy, OK? I thought we were all on the same side to a degree. I've never seen such backbiting and sniping! The subject lines alone of the threads are enough to make people take BP meds.

I can only speak for myself, I know, but when Hillary beat every poll imaginable in NH, I didn't say a damn word. Come on, we all knew BO was gonna win last night. He won in a black state. Where was the mystery?

Come on, let's all settle down.

NH was a wash delegate wise and it looks like there was funny business with the machines. Iowa was a blowout, so was SC. She lost the delegate race in NV.

45. Bullshit.
Absolute bullshit.

What was done of the recount showed that errors were largely due to hand-counting errors, not machine malfunction. There was absolutely no evidence of tampering found despite BradBlog's need to trump up small discrepancies to justify the huffing and puffing it did before the recount.

And SC is the first "blowout" for Obama. Iowa wasn't a "blowout" any more than Nevada was for Clinton.

46. The NH recount was a farce.
There were scores of missing ballots, even in the few precincts that were actually recounted, and the chain of custody was essentially nonexistent. As for Hilly's "surge" from third place in Iowa to first in NH, in defiance of pre-polling and subsequent performances, there's a fairy tale for you.

41. For the last few weeks it was a foregone conclusion that Obama
would win SC. The campaign already knew it. Why do you think that both Clintons had already planned to be on their way to TN & MO before the polls had even closed?

What lessons should she learn? That God forbid she say something that was factually and historically correct but it will nonetheless be misconstrued as being racist? Or that calling a candidate's position on an issue a "fairy tale" is some up to now unknown secret code word? If that's the case, please send me the decoder ring because I still don't understand what the outrage was about!!!!

How come the Kennedys, Daschle, Emmanuel and all the other hypocrites NEVER said a lousy word when for months Hillary was pilloried on misogynist terms by the MSM at large? How come they didn't say anything when after the Iowa caucus she was eviscerated by every media outlet on both sides of the political spectrum?

Oh yeah, very liberal when it comes to race, but screw women and their aspirations.

My response to them: FUCK ALL OF YOU!!!
