Why isn't there any outrage about the Hillary anti Edwards robo calls in SC?
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 05:15 PM by saracat
when Hillary attacks Obama , DU explodes in rightous indignation! But this is considered "politics as usual" by some.. The Clinton Campign even admitted they did this for gods sake! I am disgusted bu both frontrunning campaigns. This behavior is not defensible.NOW we know what Hillary talked to Edwards about. The smart money says she "warned" him. And to think I was leaning toward her as second choice. Now I have no other choice.Edwards is the only decent candidate we have.

2. She is attempting to marginalize him
He is coming up in the national polls and while not a direct threat...yet...long term could very well be.
I believe she even said that there were only TWO left in the campaign.
Pure fucking pond scum.

5. As an Obama supporter, I agree with you
The Clintons crossed the line with those robo calls against Edwards, and the media should be out front on that issue since the Clintons used the same dirty Republican tactic in NV against Obama too.

Theres a pattern there, one that the MSM should be hitting the Clinton campaign over the head with.

6. Why didn't anyone care about the calls in Michigan saying their primary had been cancelled?
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 05:19 PM by wlucinda
No one cared about that, because it was just Hillary, of the top three, on the ballot.

9. Trying to deny him the 15 plus percentages he needs to get convention delegates?
She doesn't want to be headed to the convention deadlocked with Obama knowing that Edwards could decide the nominee.

14. Edwards should bring it up. After all, Chelsea works for a hedge fund and Bill is cashing out
of his private equity firm.

I thought the robo call was a low blow.

but there are things she puts in the worst light possible and she accuses him of things she is guilty of herself.

20. The recording was factually correct
And addressed subjects Edwards brought up himself. Robo calls are annoying but don't constitute an unfair attack by themselves. Its not fair to lump Hillary's calls in with the abuse of robo calls that has taken place before.

21. I think they were tacky
Though the items sited had some truth, the truth was surrounded by hyperbole and stated in the worst possible case - giving no benefit of the doubt on anything. They also ignore corresponding issues that Clinton herself has. The only fair thing in them is that she did label them as from her.

I doubt she warned Edwards - though it would be fascinating to know what they did speak of. What did Obama do that bothered you as much as this? I definitely have not seen similar attacks from him.
