One great by-product of the Dems' dirty campaigns: Reagan is a DIRTY WORD again

Not since the era of Reagan has it been considered good Democratic form to insult Reagan or the Republican right. Managers and strategists (not to mention those assholes, pundits) have, since then, coached Dems to try to outdo each other to sound more Reganite than the other, supposedly because of the electoral importance of so-called Reagan Democrats. Now, all of a sudden, Dems have thrown all caution to the wind and it has become considered "Atwaterian" to accuse a fellow Dem of being too much like Reagan.
