Sure, let's change the rules a mere two days before the Florida primary
After all, there's nothing wrong with changing the rules of a contest while it's still going on, is there? I'm sure the New England Patriots wouldn't mind if the New York Giants petitioned the NFL to hold the Super Bowl in New York instead of Arizona, would they?

:sarcasm:

4. It would have be nice if Clinton had been stating this from the start
rather than as a last minute vote getting stunt.

9. FL Dems are as fickle as any other state. Few vote in the primary and it's not an issue outside HRC
camp.

2. Anything to win, always remember that.
It's the power that counts, not principles.

3. Clinton isn't changing the rules
she's asking that they be changed. You don't see the difference?

7. Sure - but why did she wait until now?
Like I said, it would be like if the Giants petitioned to hold the Super Bowl in New York instead of a neutral site. They wouldn't be changing the rules themselves, but they would be asking for the rules to be changed, for their benefit.

11. No I don't. She is requesting that rules be changed in the middle of the game,
when the change would appear to overwhelmingly benefit her own campaign.

It's pretty scummy if you ask me. (okay you didn't but I'm telling you anyway.)

6. Barack Breaks DNC Rules Campaigning In Florida
I have been watching Barack ads every day on CNN and of course he is breaking the rules. In my opinion it's a character issue if any thing.

10. Please tell me when Obama campaigned in Florida
I'm sure you'll have a list of dates and locations for Obama's campaign stops.

Advertising on a national network like CNN is a lot different from actually campaigning across a state, getting to know people.

What's next, claiming that because Obama's autobiography is sold in Florida bookstores, that is considered campaigning also?

12. Why was he the only candidate to do so?
Clinton and Edwards managed to run ads that didn't include Florida.

14. Clinton, Obama and Edwards all should have been
campaigning in Michigan and Florida. Not to do so is the definition of political insanity. The Repugs have had those states to themselves, campaigning and talking about problems in those states. Dean's decision will cause us to lose those states in November.

15. Hillary was reaching out for Florida Dems' endorsement....Nelson did
endorse her that next day. Then she called uncommitted CFO Alex Sink to tell her personally she would be in Florida the 3 days before the primary. Look for that endorsement.
