1. As an Obama guy, I'd love to have him as AG, and see what he's got

I like JE and hope he has a future in this party. I'd like to see him get a shot after Obama in the WH. If Obama should falter, John would be my guy this time around.

2. Full disclosure; if I were backing Edwards, I'd be pushing for him to be Commerce Secretary

To me that seems like the portfolio where he could do the most to address the "Two Americas" problem.

What's the case for him being AG in particular? Not that he'd be bad, just wondering why that position jumped out at people.

Doesn't matter that he defends clients rather than prosecutes them. To most people, hey a lawyer is a lawyer. :shrug:
