Why the Republican conspiracy to run against Obama will fail

Because they will end up getting President Obama by thinking he will be an easy defeat.

While I may diss Obama and Hillary Clinton now, in hopes that John Edwards will be the nominee, in my heart I will be glad to support Obama when he wins the nomination. If you think his speeches are good now, wait until he is running against the Republicans.

This this is ready, aim, backfire on the republicans. Obamania will not be stoppable, even in their wildest racist hopes. The republican voters want change. They are not going to show up.

republicans would cross over party lines and vote for obama in the primaries, with the logic being that they were securing victory for their candidate by assuming that an african american wouldn't win the GE against their white guy.

5. first of all , his speeches aren't that great

second of all ,they will rip him to shreds in the debates, in the press and ads,

he has won 2 red states, one with an open primary and a devicive AA vote, he's really done nothing yet. If he could win half or 2/3rds of the Super Tues. states I'll be impressed, but of course Hillary is way ahead of him in almost all those states but that's something the mainstream media won't tell you -- they are spinning this for all it's worth to try and convince the next round of voters on Super Tues. to vote for him.

6. Obama has two big issues he will have to address at some point:

1. His hypocrisy and bigotry toward gay people. He isn't going to get that vote promoting people like Donnie McClurkin.

2. His friend Rezko. Trial starts next month, and there's lots about Obama. None of it good.

The great GOP machine will make short work of Barack in the general.
