We've been proven right about the voting machines.
Word is out that in Orange County, California, the voting machines were down in one of the more liberal areas of the 69th A.D. Even the head of the Orange County voters couldn't tell the poll workers how to collect provisional ballots from those disenfranchised by the non-working voting machines. Lots of voters had to go home without voting.
at least to show the world that the opposition can do NOTHING about it and reassure Bush's backers he will win no matter what.
Actually the fact that these machines can't even function when it would be smart to keep the heat off proves they want this "glitchiness"(blamed on the "human" factor) as legal cover. Perhaps they even want people to get sick of the trouble and rush to the next level of Internet voting.
As long as resistance lags they will forge ahead where no moral human dares to go.
Can't believe they didn't have paper ballots for people to fill out in caase of a screw up! This is becoming a HUGE problem. I hope Kerry gets a grip on it before November.
the news always shows that idiotic man looking at the ballot like it was from Mars. Having myself served on a recount - the task was not that difficult. But the fool they use on the TV spots should have been ridiculed for his inept behavior, instead it was used to make the case that punch cards were just too difficult for a person of average intelligence to figure out.
