"Obama, Clinton face off in SC primary"
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080126/ap_on_el_pr/south_carolina_primary

I guess John Edwards just doesn't exist. He's a non-entity, a figment of some silly peoples' imaginations.

May the MSM who exclude our BEST candidates burn in HELL for all eternity. :grr:

1. You didnt bother to read the second paragraph...did you??
Former Sen. John Edwards was the third contender on the ballot, hoping to benefit from the acrimony between the other two.

2. Exactly, not only does the title ignore him,
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 03:21 PM by Labors of Hercules
but the body calls him the "third contender". ASSHOLES! How is he "the third contender" when people haven't voted yet?!

3. Let's be honest here
John really doesn't have a chance to win this state. For all intents and purposes, Hillary and Obama are facing off in the SC primary (for first place).

4. bullshit. One begets the other.
And the media treating him like a nonentity is propaganda that makes people BELIEVE he is a nonentity.

People vote for who they PERCEIVE as the strongest, and MEDIA are driving that perception. That's all there is to it.

5. You are denigrating the voters
by saying that they will vote for whomever the media chooses for them.

I don't appreciate you doing that. It's a wrong characterization. South Carolina voters are smart, they know the issues, and they will go to the polls and vote for their respective candidate based on the issues.

Edwards supporters are just going to have to come to the realization that Edwards message doesn't resonate with the majority of the Democratic constituency. Anything else is just sour grapes.

6. I wish it were just sour grapes.
Then I wouldn't be so frustrated about it.
