3. It might be a while.
I think they are having Craig Crawford first. They have five hours to fill this morning so they are going to tease us with JE for a while is my suspicion. I am happy they are giving him a little attention. Nevermind that....Here comes a story on Obama again!!!

9. He was on with Lester Holt a few minutes ago. Technical problems. Remember when there were
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 08:21 AM by chimpymustgo
always technical problems during the campaign in '04 - during the primaries (especially with Dean), then during the general. CNN would show Bush speeches for hours, then Kerry would come on at a campaign event, and oops, after 15 seconds - they'd lose the feed!

10. Very impressive!
John Edwards was confident, positive, and appears to think that todays will be an important part of his campaign. I liked what I saw.

16. It was one
of the best performances so far. I recognize that it is "only" a morning show. But he handled it perfectly.

15. John always impresses me when I see him
Now if ONLY the media would give him MORE coverage to get his message across. Even ol' Joe acknowledged that!

I just hope he can overcome THAT obstacle, I think he could WIN over more voters.

The NewSpundits were pretty harsh on John right before John came on. :puke:on Barnacle, what an ASS.

17. Perhaps it's because Joe understand how campaigns are rigged
Joe's been there. He knows the "GAME" of politics, how the party determines who they want to support. If you're not loyal to the party then there could be trouble.

I think John learned a valuable lesson being a member of the DLC. He knows HOW they play the "game" as well.

If he wins the GE he will have a difficult time within our party, I fear they will try to hamper his agenda. However, if they play that "GAME" they do so at their own peril. Because John is fighting for US.

18. Andrew Jackson had a similar problem
he ran against the special interests - in his case as the new Democratic Party's first candidate. Edwards, if he pulls it off, could be the first candidate of the new new Democratic Party (aka, Progressive Party)

19. Yep, after all the 110th congress has been dragging their collective feet on investigations
So, if they are unwilling to work with John, he can call a press conference to expose the corruption within his own party.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will have a hard time with the American People if they fail to him. There will definitely be a backlash against them. I keep thinking about a party Nancy attended during the 04 convention that was sponsored by corporations. Brian Ross saw her trying to duck the cameras. To me she looked like she had been caught eating the canary.

Then I heard (( I think Olbermann mentioned it )) just recently Harry attended an event again sponsored by the Telecomm's industry and after the "party" Harry trotted the FISA Bill back out.
