and will do so again in November. No more lesser of two evils for me. I can't go back.

On edit: I voted for Dean this morning, and am switching from Dem to Independent this afternoon. From now on, the Dems have to earn my vote, and most of them have not even come close.

16. 4 votes for Dean in California. No, I did not cheat...
I suggest that in the GE we all file for absentee ballots, this will defeat the Black Box and Bush! Harder for them to steal the votes, they leave a paper trail and no problems like hanging chads! Pass it on!

18. Dean Vote in OH
It was about 1 PM when I went to vote. I was the only voter there, but I did see someone exiting just as I came in, and someone else showing up as I was leaving. Ultimately there was never any question that I'd vote for Dr. Dean - it's a loyalty issue for me - but I did wish I had a second vote to spare for Dennis Kucinich as well. Clark and Lieberman were still on the ballot too. If I'd had a set of "points" to distribute among a first, second, and third choice, they would have gone to Dean, Kucinich, and Clark, in that order. I guess it's a good thing when most of the candidates are so good that the choice among them isn't so easy....

40. At The Very Last Moment, I Voted for Dr. Dean Here in California
After Governor Dean withdrew from the race, I had determined to vote for Congressman Kucinich.

In fact, I went to the polls this morning here in Southern California planning to vote for the good Congressman, but...

One fellow DU'er had a last minute impact on me that weighed heavy in my heart and mind this morning, that person was our own DSC.

It wasn't just voting for Dean, who I admire, but it was voting for the local Dean delegates who had worked their hearts out for over a year and to register one last time for the candidate I'd given my money and sweat to.

I now must endure the disappointment of Congressman Kucinich's supporters who expected me to vote for their guy. I admire him very much and hope he does well here in California.

Of course, Senator Kerry will sweep California tonight along with the rest of the primaries making my tiny vote academic at best and frivolous at worst.

But, hey...shoot me if it makes you feel better. I have great peace with my vote.
