IF she were to be elected?
Personally I am disgusted with Bill's level of participation. Can't Hillary stand on her own two feet?
As a person who would actually look forward to the election of the first woman as POTUS, Hillary's dependence on Bill is disturbing.

1. and if Bill were silent?
People would be reading into that as well.

"Bill must not really want Hillary to be President --he doesn't even defend her!!!"

give me a effing break already.

2. Well, what would be best is for Hillary to defend herself
Bill could echo the support, but it should mostly come from Hillary

5. Will Bill ever step out?
He has taken over her campaign. There's no silencing him now.
