I'm very public about supporting Obama. But everyone should condemn this sort of crap, no matter who it's about. Please note - I am not linking to the organization's web site, just to a report about them on TPMMuckraker.

1. Name of organization is "CUNT."
Citizens United Not Timid.

They could have easily come up with a much better org name to fit that acronym.

Idiots.

And who the fuck gets a tattoo of Nixon on their back?

I dislike Hillary, too, but that is just a downright misogynistic and filthy tactic.

Presumably Stone learned this gimmick from working on Nixon's 1972 Committee to Re-Elect the President (CREEP).

Yikes!

18. Hillarious that the lowlife David Bossie sent Stone a cease and desist letter alleging infringement.
Edited on Thu Jan-24-08 02:30 PM by flpoljunkie
No sooner had Stone filed his organization's papers than Citizens United, a group headed by David Bossie that's been attacking the Clintons for nearly twenty years and recently released Hillary: The Movie, sent a cease and desist letter to Stone, alleging infringement.

If true, this kind of sleaziness by the Republican slime machine only helps Hillary with women. I am still unhappy with the media for not showing the entire "emotional" New Hampshire moment when she immediately pivoted on a dime to slam Obama. In case you missed it, here's the link to the entire "moment."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIG1mJAdMv8

Perhaps that is slimeball Roger Stone's motive here. She's still the candidate the Republicans want to run against--the only one who can unite their increasingly divided party.

19. it just shows how stupid these people are
I would bet, if this really does catch on, that there will be a lot of Republican women who vote for HRC (if she's the nom, of course) just because their asshole mysoginist hubby bought this tee-shirt.

If I didn't already have a candidate, this sort of tactic would probably push me towards voting for Hillary.

28. There's no way Obama or his people are behind this
Some Republican outfit is behind this. It is a known fact that every time Hil is attacked, she garners more votes in the next primary as sympathy. The Repub strategy may just pay off again, and they can face who they want in the GE. I think it is a disgusting tactic and condemn this product. I doubt any Obama supporters think that this is acceptable. As a matter of fact, if I were a Hil supporter, I would consider putting out derogatory Hil products and messages just to get more sympathy votes- if I was willing to play "Clinton dirty", which I'm not.

29. Roger Stone is well-known as repuke operative and smear-meister
He played a big part in the so-called "Brooks-Brothers riot" that shut down the 2000 Florida recount. He's also been rumored to have played a part in the 2004 TANG scandal that took out Dan Rather.
