If anyone's been listening to Slimeball for any length of time over the past few weeks, you've no doubt heard him sticking up for Obama, virtually backing him in the Democratic primaries. It's quite unsettling, to be honest.

I have no illusions what this is actually about - this has everything to do with Rush using this as a pretext for going after Hillary Clinton. It's safe to assume that if Obama does manage to win the Democratic nomination, we can expect Rush to revert back to vicious attacks against Obama.

It's just unsettling hearing someone like Rush "sticking up" for Obama, when we know damned well that he'll be one of the first to start slinging mud if Obama wins the nomination.

I'm not under the illusion that Rush has suddenly become a big fan of Obama's.

Like you and the poster below have pointed out, Rush enjoyed taking plenty of potshots at Obama, pulling out the race card, etc. His act isn't fooling anyone. The man is a racist through and through, which is why it's funny to hear him complain about how racism has become an issue.
