If it is a bones versus bones election, won't GWB have to throw the election because he is the junior pledge? Why is Doonesbury saying those horrible things about his frat brother, GWB? I thought he had to protect him at all costs.

Frankly there are good people and not so good people in just about every organization I've ever been in. I have had very good friends who were in frats, and have really disliked other fraternity members.

13. EXTREMELY TIRED of hearing it. My brother was (is?) S&B. He has told

me a lot about it (I was in a fraternity with somewhat lower horsepower) and I don't find it to be a big deal. (FWIW, I quit the one I was in, Lambda Chi Alpha, after 2 years and I also was in DeMolay before that...for a while.)

To whatever degree any individual retains allegiance to these kinds of associations is highly variable. Some people, I imagine, do maintain a connection, probably due to political connections, but most everyone I have ever known from my own affiliation have simply put it behind them.
