She only said she regretted a couple of insignificant votes. On the big ones like IWR she has never said she apologized for it, only that Bush fucked up. Consistency has been a theme and also clarity. She's avoiding the Kerry rap which would also be the OBAMA rap of waffling and indecision.

Non specific nuance is bad in a campaign on issues the other side will take a firm stand on like national security.
