Obama Supporters: The Clinton People are right
From this moment on, I'm boycotting pickles! Please join me. It's outrageous that Michelle Obama worked at a pickle manufacturer that sold pickles to Walmart. This just proves pickles are an evil corporate shill!

In 2004 we boycotted Haitian Man Boobs because they were a priority to Wes Clark. In 2008, we must boycott pickles!

5. Obama's corporate lawyer wife sitting on the Board of a Company
that does the majority of it's business with Wal-Mart. Hillary left Wal-Mart's Board over 16 years ago; Michelle left her Board in May 2007. So, Obama's wife had a sweet $50,000 a year deal as of 9 months ago due to, in large part, the company's business with Wal-Mart.

10. I bought some baby clothes at walmart last week...
I guess my 13 month old daughter is also responsible for walmart's mistreatment of employees and suppliers.

11. unless you're making $50,000 a year from them
and buying mansions from your now-indicted long-time friend for under the listed price with the money, probably not

25. Is there something illegal about buying land from a friend...
under the listed price. Nice subject change. And again Michelle was working for a pickle company....NOT walmart...there is a difference.

26. $625,00 and Uh-bama got it for $104,500
he later admitted it was a "mistake"

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama expressed regret late Friday for his 2005 land purchase from now-indicted political fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko in a deal that enlarged the senator's yard.

"I consider this a mistake on my part and I regret it," Obama told the Chicago Sun-Times in an exclusive and revealing question-and-answer exchange about the transaction.

And if Michelle's "pickle company" does a substantial majority of their business with a corporation Obama is beating Hillary up with -- for sitting on a Board 16 years ago --, then there's not much difference. Especially if she decided to leave only 9 months ago.

14. probably nothing near what the Corporate Lawyer got
but we're not supposed to talk about this as it's a "non-issue". Interestingly, a non-issue that the campaign felt skittish enough about to ask her to leave, but, still, a "non-issue".

I'd be more worried about Patrick Fitzgerald's Tony Rezko trial beginning on Feb 25th if I were Obama. He's not under indictment and is perhaps guilty of only poor judgment in choosing friends, but he has been close to ol' Tony for 17 years.

In fact, now that I think about it, the amount of time Hillary's been off the Board of Wal-Mart is slightly under the time Obama was chummy with a known embezzler, extorter and mafia hood.

Interesting.

18. Ooops. On another thread I thought you were a nonpartisan observer
asking objective questions about Obama's campaign.

Guess I haven't been keeping track of your posts very well.

19. the other thread you're referring to
is actually a sincere attempt to have people with legal experience weigh in with their thoughts on the necessity of him having to be involved with the trial. This thread is more about the hypocrisy of him calling out Hillary for her work with a company 16 years ago that his wife had associations with 9 months ago.

One can ask a sincere, serious question in a non-partisan way. The two are not mutually exclusive.
