Poll question: Is there anyone running you absolutely couldn't vote for, even if it meant a Repug would win?
Edited on Mon Jan-21-08 11:37 PM by calmblueocean
If your vote was going to make the difference between a Dem or a Repug winning, is there any Dem you just couldn't bring yourself to vote for, if he or she was the nominee?

3. And to think... we ALMOST made it through the day without a loyalty oath thread.
Oh well.... there's always tomorrow. At least until Hillary "wins" the nomination.....

14. As long as there's not a capital(ist) "LC" after that, fine.
As long as a Democrat is nominated, I'll vote for him.

4. I cant stand Obama whining all the time
And him playing the race card pissed me off amongst some other crap, but I’d hold my nose and vote for him if he’s the nominee (even though he cant win the GE).

11. Yeah, that's what I want to hear. What unites is is so much bigger than what divides us.
We all have our favorite candidates, and our least favorite candidates, but come on, folks: would a Republican really be better? Sheesh!

7. I'm not sure,
if my vote will even be counted, let alone make a difference. But just like the lottery I'll be a sucker and vote for the Democratic nominee.

13. I'm shocked at these numbers, too. I guess they didn't really care about Roe v. Wade after all...
Or any of the other issues we supposedly stand for. Geez, how disappointing.

22. Maybe, but I'd go for stupidity first. Or...
maybe just simple ignorance.

There's a lot nmore of that than real hatred or bigotry.

10. If Hillary really loved this country she would resign from the race. But no. She's too power mad.

But I think I'll follow you on that thought instead.

19. Well, I'd still vote for Obama....even though I'd have to
make sure I didn't eat for 48 hours beforehand to avoid throwing up at the polls.

20. absolutely fucking not.
and anyone who voted anything other than 'i'll vote for the nominee' deserves what they get under the next republican travesty of a president.

21. Well, it would be nice if there were only about 70...
shitheads out there brain dead or otherwise useless enough to not vote for a Democrat they didn't like. Alas, I fear there are more.

Would they really not care if two or three more Scalias were on the bench, along with a hundred others on lesser courts?

Would they really not care if war with Iran was almost guaranteed?

Would they really not care if we had even fewer people with decent health care, and even fewer on decent pensions?

Would they really not care if the planet continued to be destroyed?

Would they really not care if unemployment and bankrupties rose to record levels?

And on, and on, and on...

the worst of ours is far better than the best of theirs, but if you're too dense to get that, then slither back under your rock.
