May I say, as a non-American, any one of the three would be welcome as your new President!
Edited on Mon Jan-21-08 10:51 PM by glarius
I have just watched the debate....all the way through, which I haven't been able to do with previous debates. I think all three people would be such a welcome change for the rest of the world. I know now, the media is going to start trying to make it look like all they did was bicker. This was not the case, in my opinion. There was a little bit of back and forth bickering, but for the most part it was civilized and informative. As a Canadian, all I can do is pray that one of these people becomes your next president!
I'm sure Bill O'Reilly, Tweety and the rest will tear them apart, but what else is new!
Here's to Hillary, Barack and John!:toast:
P.S....I'm adding this at 10:50PM....The media is at it already. Insisting there was a lot of bickering.
I thought that Wolf Blitzer, who I usually find as dull as dishwater, did a good job. He let the three of them TALK. It was more like an argumentative conversation.....which was very welcome, instead of the usual sound bites form of so-called debate.

Neighbor#1: "Hey, neighbor! I was watching you interview the local pest control contractors today, and... well, may I say, as your neighbor, that any of them would be a welcome improvement over the last one that went bankrupt and let all the rats run wild."

Neighbor#2: "No, you may not say it. I'd rather decide for myself which pest control company is best for me! Butt out."

Neighbor#3: :wtf:

35. I agree---any of them would do our country proud.
And you are right---they are fixating on the heated back and forth between Obama and Hillary. They are so SERIOUS about it. I don't expect anything different in a campaign. So what?

Thank you for the encouraging support for the Democratic candidates.
