Obama's whining is the Dean scream in slo mo
Every day brings another whine from this guy's campaign. Bill's beating up on me - whine! Hillary's going to campaign in FL just because I'm running campaign ads in Florida, but I got special permission from SC to campaign and FL! Special permission, just for me, me, me!! - whine! Just because I said Reagan was great and Bill wasn't doesn't mean you Dems should pick on me!! -- whine! NH wasn't fair. I lost, so it wasn't fair!! -- whine. And on and on and on!

Doesn't he get, doesn't his supporters get that this is the equivelent of the Dean scream in slo mo? Nothing, and I mean nothing could make him look less presidential than this non-stop whining and complaining. He looks like he can't play with the big boys and girls and looks more like he's running for president of his 6th grade class.

It's pathetic for him, and sorry to say, embarrassing for Dems in general at this point.

4. SC isn't going to matter
She's way ahead of him in every super Tuesday state. He may win SC, but that is the last and probably only primary election he will win. I'm an Edwards supporter, but I really think the Obama folks need to get a grip on reality.

7. okay, he may get Georgia, Colorado and certainly Illinois
but he can have them if we get California, New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, Arizona, Alabama, Connecticut, Oklahoma, Colorado, Utah, Missouri, Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho and Minnesota.

I think that's a fair trade, don't you?

8. I'll tell you what's asinine, this whole fucking election...
Edited on Mon Jan-21-08 07:50 PM by 1corona4u
and it's all Obama's fault. IF he would held to his word that he was not going to run this year, it'd be a whole nother ball of wax. Maybe there would actually be some adults still in the race. Now, everyone just wants to shove Obama down our throats. If Obama wouldn't have ran, maybe Hillary wouldn't be the front runner. Did ya ever think about that?!? Maybe someone else would be. The whole dynamic would have changed. But he didn't care about that....selfish bastard.

I say fuck Obama. He went back on his word, and totally fucked up this whole election, just to prove a point. That a black man can become president. That's his goal, nothing more. He's only in this to make history, not for the good of the country. This country is more divided now more than ever, yet, he keeps spewing the unity bullshit, while ignoring the tension he is creating.

Unreal.

15. I agree -- I'm offended that he is even running
I've worked with state legislators for years, and I can tell you I find it laughable that any of them would think that qualified them to run as POTUS. Yes, he has been a senator for 3 years now, but hell, he ran against Alan Keyes. Anyone could have beat the right wing nut Alan Keyes in IL. He might as well have run uncontested.

And now, Obama's campaign is convincing me he isn't even qualified to RUN for POTUS let alone BE POTUS. As is typical of most unseasoned politicians, he has a ridiculous ego. Yes, all politicians have huge egos, but believe it or not they usually get shaved down a bit through the rigors of campaigning. This guy is the biggest baby I have ever seen run for any federal office. And I have seen a lot.

The best advice I could give him would be to spend some time growing up, then come back in 8 yrs and try again.

And yes, not ready for prime time. The media wants a race and dogfight between the first woman and the first black. That's why Edwards is being ignored as well. It's like the American Idol of presidental races. Pathetic, but there you have it. He is so clearly, obviously, not ready for prime time.

Stupid to pick a fight with Big Dawg.

No matter what Big Dawg does, he's still loved.

I was at a speech he gave for Kerry Edwards -

A roar came up from the usually reserved people in the auditoriuym when he came out to the podium

he could be elected again if they would let him run for third term, believe me.

26. Well mostly because......
a) her "emotional moment" was about why she cares about the country, AND

b) his complaining is about him crying "poor me."

And I think you're mistaken if you think most people think his complaints are legitimate. I think they just make him look like he can't play with the big boys and girls. In the real world, the people I hear talking about it say that as well. He is becoming known as a whiner / complainer. That is the message he is sending people about himself. Remember, Dems and independents love Bill Clinton. Obama is not going to get anywhere whining about the Big Dog.

She did not come across as poor me, and I think that was proven by her victory in NH. No, I can't get into her head to prove she was sincere, but she sounded like she was running because they issues really mattered to her. He comes off as sounding like the only thing that really matters to him, the only thing he gets upset about, is how he is being treated as a candidate. It's all about him. If you're watching the debate going on right now I would think it would be obvious. He hasn't stop whining yet.

After what they did to Kerry (and I really do mean "they" in the sense that we should all be able to agree), no Dem is going to let attacks go unanswered. I don't mind it when it seems decisive, but they need to remember not to fight the last war.

Maybe we all have different definitions of "whining", but from my perspective, Bill has been doing it.

Obama can handle all this and a lot more.

As an Edwards supporter, we know what a true fighter for the public good looks like.

The naivete of Obamites to the reality of the press creating his aura, only to send him a knockout punch is almost laughable, if it weren't for the subtext. Can't they see that the elimination and marginalization of QUALIFIED, honest, candidates like Dodd, Richardson, Biden and Kucinich, is a loss for the whole Party? No, they like their selfish candidate, don't realize that after the TRUE nemesis to the Corporatocracy, Edwards, is also eliminated, only two CORPORATE alternatives remain.

That isn't by chance! Do you really think Obama challenges the status quo? That is my complaint about him, his bashing Democratic core concepts and icons, while pandering to the Right for crossover votes. That is absolutely PATHETIC!

All of this sound and fury is worthless. Hillary has a guarded closet and her laundry was aired long ago. But, Obama hasn't seen a thing yet. While receiving his free pass to this point, he will be NAILED shortly ala Dean. I have forseen his "Dean" moment coming for a long time and tonight wasn't the only time you will hear REZKO. Its coming February 25, to KNOCK Obama out.

That is what is selfish about Obama. His timing stinks, and he doesn't keep promises, which is a CHARACTER FLAW, as is buying a house through a known influence peddler. You sow what you reap Obama Nation ( or is that abomination? ).You sow what you reap.

Unfortunately, you have forced your bitter crop on all of US!!!
