Taylor Marsh's own words contradict her current swiftboating lies
Here is Taylor Marsh swiftboating John Kerry because he endorsed Obama. (Also see this

Excuse me while I pick myself off the floor, dust myself off, then try to immediately rip from my mind the flashing memories of the disaster that became the 2004 campaign, which ended with Kerry losing a presidential election that was the easiest gimme in political history. No, in world history. Nah, in the history of universes, galaxies and beyond. That John Kerry could actually hand George W. Bush a win in 2004 defies all political competency when you look at the ammunition we had to run on. Kerry faced the most incurious, stubborn, ill-informed, misdirected, incompetent man to ever live in the White House. A war so mismanaged that the entire country was about to explode. A film by Michael Moore that made the case against George W. Bush for us. Money-Money-Money. And a Texan who half of America detested and who originally rode into Washington backwards on a lame mule with the help of the Supreme Court. But Kerry allowed himself, the Democratic party and the American people to be taken to the cleaners, because John Kerry served up one political gaffe gift after another.

"I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it." — John Kerry, March 16, 2004

When this beauty was unleashed with a straight face I and no doubt millions of others said If we lose this election, this is the reason. Too bad Mr. Kerry wasn't content with that monumental screw up. Instead, this quote became the model for stumble after stumble. He became the political nightmare that kept on giving and giving until many activists working on his behalf watched him on television with a bottle of booze and one eye half closed waiting for another whopper to drop from his privileged puss. Sadly, it always did.

Here are some of Marsh's past post on Kerry dating back to 2004:

Hillary Clinton Booed
(posted from Washington, D.C., 5:41 p.m. eastern time)

UPDATE: Senator Hillary Clinton Gets Booed over Iraq. It was well earned.

<...>

Senator Hillary Clinton was clueless this could happen. It was amazing.

As an aside, which I will talk about a little later, John Kerry kicked Hillary's political ass. He even took a well aimed swipe at her, which was primed, priceless and perfectly aimed. It was a beautiful thing, let me tell you.

When Clinton finished her speech, she went over to shake hands. There was a crowd, but nothing compared to what happened later with Senator John Kerry. But as Hillary shook hands, I could see her face and jaw, which were tight and set.

As for what's said in the Woodward book, one Kerry camp insider I talked to today certainly wasn't surprised by the revelations.

"The fact that the Clintonistas did not truly have JK's best interest at heart in 2004 comes as no surprise to anyone deeply involved in the Kerry camp." - Kerry insider, who would not go on the record.

At some point it got out of control.

The DC Dems hired to fight for John Kerry simply sold him out at the first sign of a fight. Except for a loyal group closest to Kerry, many of the people in his employ simply sucked. I can't say it any plainer. Woodward offers more proof on what's been speculated about for a couple of years now.

But did Carville and McCurry really sell Kerry out? Playing stenographer, because this is important, I offer the whole picture, which goes way beyond Carville. It points to the reality that if our presidential candidate is going to win he or she has to extricate themselves from these self-interested traitors inside our own party who are willing to sell out the Democratic Party cause, which must be to fight and win elections, in support of their own interests.

It's important to hammer this scene out because we are facing a critical election in just a few weeks. Every single candidate must be prepared to stand up and fight back, because it takes more than just counting the vote against Republicans these days. As an aside, if you can vote through absentee ballot, which offers a paper trail that electronic voting does not, do it.

But when the end isn't certain there is only one thing to do: declare victory and fight it out.

It's clear Carville and McCurry had their eyes on something else entirely. With Democrats like Carville and McCurry helping us out on election night we hardly need Karl Rove.

Honest to God, even if you don't like Kerry, how many times does the man have to be proved right before this gets down right infuriating?

Tora Bora? Right.

Fighting terrorism with investigative tools, as well as military? See London. Right again.

After admitting he was wrong in trusting Bush, putting a plan together with Feingold to get out of Iraq. Right a third time.

But believe me, it's bull.

I've been walking around with a Kerry t-shirt on for over a year and a half, which has now been replaced by a KERRY - EDWARDS shirt.

I've had a Kerry bumper sticker on my car long before it was popular.

But yesterday, while driving around Las Vegas.

I was besieged.

A contractor pulled up in his truck asking where he could get a sticker for his car.

People called out to me when I was getting my New York Times.

But when I walked into COSTCO, the reception was clamorous.

"You're for the right guy," one heavy set man with his family said.

Another middle aged couple said "He's going to win."

Then another... and another... and another... all of the people wanting to engage in conversation, talking about their feelings for their candidate.

This in anti-trial lawyer Nevada, where John Edwards isn't exactly popular among the medical profession.

However, in a state where Yucca Mountain dominates, they're getting on board.

One guy related a story about a relative in Texas calling Bush an oil pimp.

As our thirty minute trip to COSTCO turned into an hour and a half.

Having worn a Kerry t-shirt for months and months and months, with muted response.

The post convention Kerry clamor in Nevada is out of this world.

And these weren't just anti-Bush people.

John Kerry won 1.7 million more young people than Al Gore or George W. Bush.

So the next time you read one of the many bloggers bloviating against the youth vote that supposedly didn't come out, blow him or her off. They're full of it.

John Kerry also won more independents than George W. Bush.

In fact, in Ohio, he inspired more Dems, Independents and even Republicans to vote than Al Gore.

It's just that the President and his pulpit people had a very calculated plan.

"By all the conventional yardsticks of Ohio presidential politics, Sen. John F. Kerry was a smashing success. He turned out droves of supporters, many of them first-time voters, and won more votes on Tuesday than any Democrat in state history -- and more than George W. Bush did in 2000 when he took the state from Al Gore. ... As a political tale, Ohio '04 can be simplified into a story of city vs. country. Kerry's strategists have been hoping for months that urban voters, including such loyally Democratic blocs as organized labor and blacks, would push Kerry to an unbeatable margin, offsetting Bush's strength far beyond the cities. It almost worked. People living in and around Ohio's six biggest cities -- Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toledo, Columbus, Akron and Dayton -- flooded polling stations to vote the Democratic ticket. Kerry won Cuyahoga County, part of the Cleveland area, with nearly 51,000 more votes than Gore won it by four years ago (his campaign says it exceeded its goal for black votes in Cuyahoga by 25 percent). His margin in Columbus's Franklin County was 10 times that of Gore's. ... Campaign operatives and analysts point to the same motivating factor: Bush's conservative positions on social issues, particularly his opposition to abortion and his advocacy of a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage. ... (John C. Green, a University of Akron professor who studies religion and politics) described one piece of mail from the Bush campaign that featured a beautiful church and a traditional nuclear family. It was headlined, 'George W. Bush shares your values. Marriage. Life. Faith. ... 'It could not have been clearer if it had quoted from the Bible,' Green said."
What Happened in Ohio, by Paul Farhi and James V. Grimaldi

<...>

Because make no mistake about it, John Kerry didn't lose this election over Iraq, the war on terror, the economy or anything else. You saw the first debate!

<...>

If the election had come down to anything other than "values," Kerry would have won. Look at the numbers. Kerry and his IDEAS pulled in more young people, Independents, Democrat PROGRESSIVES and even Republicans than ever before.

3. Great research, ProSense. Thanks! You need to send TM this thread.
She's using her blog in a really nasty way; makes me wonder what she's actually getting out of it.
