Undecideds: Please check in....I feel lonely
Sometimes I feel like I am the only one who doesn't have a candidate that I'm swooning over. I'm ABB to the absolute extreme. But I just don't as of yet feel invested in any of the candidates. I'm not sure I'm even going to vote in the primary because nobody moves me beyond my absolute dislike for Leiberman. I think they'd all make fine presidents and I think they've all screwed up so far along the way on the campaign trail in one form or another.

Kerry considering his stellar resume has performed lackluster.
Edwards has struck me as unpolished and not quite ready.
Clark hasn't yet said anything that really moved me.
Dean's attacks and (what I perceive s) ego has pushed me away from supporting him.
Kucinich has not really sparked my interest and his past position on choice leaves me wary.

I will enthusiastically vote for any of these men if they are the nominee, and will donate money and time as well as space on my bumper. I will talk them up to anyone and everyone who is undecided or who I feel can be swayed.

But right now I just don't have a candidate. And many of the candidate supporters on here aren't helping. In fact most are hurting their case in my eyes.

3. The thing I will say about Clark...
He makes me smile for some reason. More so than any of the other candidates he just seems to exude the most positivity.

That's not really enough for me to be a strident supporter of his, but I do like that about him.

2. I'll support nominee by default
I know Dean is the frontrunner and will probably finagle the nomination, but the stridency of his supporters and his Goodyear blimp-sized ego turn me off.

4. Ditto....
And I have donated money to his campaign earlier on. I now regret this. But I will donate again if he is the nominee.

21. Me too
I don't want to think about listening to four years of his style but if it's him it's him. I prefer a more upbeat message and a more humble personality.

5. Undecided....because I love them ALL
well, most of 'em.

I've got the field narrowed down to Clark, Dean, Kerry & Kucinich.

This is a great crop we have. None are perfect, but if you start focusing on the positives (or just compare them to *) you may find inspiration.

Good luck to ya...when's your primary?

6. I always compare them to *....
And that makes me like them all. I'm just not sure how many of the rest of america will feel the same way or will take the time to find out.

I'm in NJ. Not sure when our primary is.

7. I'm undecided
But then again I can't vote in your elections anyway.

Shame really as there is more then one quality candidate out there and you lot have a chance to change things in your primaries which we Brits do not have with our parties.

8. I'm glad you checked in
what's the situation over there regarding Blair? When are your next elections and what's the prospects for getting him out? Do you even want him out, or is the alternative even worse?

17. Don't get me started on Phoney B:liar
Elections will be in 2005/2006 (Blair can call one any time in the 5 years since the last one which was in June 2001) and since he has an ENOURMOUS majority already he will win. :grr: This is bad news as "new" labour is deteriorating badly.

As to alternatives, there is the Conservative party, who are as bad as they sound, presently unelectable, similar policies to Blair/Bush but popular down here in Essex.

In third place however there is the Liberal Democrats, who are actually not that bad. The challege now is to make the Lib Dems the official opposition ahead of the tories.

9. What issues are most importaint to you?
What do the different candidates say about these issues?

I like the DU, but there are a lot of combatants here, I admit I jump in from time to time. Spend some time on each candidates web site. I like Clark's and Kuncinich's.

14. All of them but none of them.....
I am down the line liberal on every singe issue. Pro-choice, Pro- Affirm Action, pro-separation of church and state, pro-public school.

All of the usual suspect issues are important to me.

But none of them is a deal breaker on any of the candidates.

12. More like "Uncommitted" here
Edited on Tue Dec-30-03 09:34 AM by mouse7
Compared to Wellstone, all the candidates come up short to me. I just can't get real exicted over any of them or motivated to work for any of them as a result.

Incessant bashing of other people's candidates is not.
