Dean's political coalition: WIll be become a counterweight to the DLC?
The DLC is probably the dominent out of intra-party groups, but could Dean's upcoming PAC take down the DLC a notch.

2. His main goal, already begun, is getting progressives elected.
I believe that there are 96 identified running for congress this year, right now. One of them is in our area, a first time candidate. There are groups set up to begin supporting these candidates.

This is the kind of thing he has wanted all the time.

6. One can only hope.
We need to get back to our roots. I would like to see all of our organizations work together, but we are too compromised with the DLC.
