New Ghouliani ad - with actual WTC collapse footage!
Edited on Fri Jan-18-08 03:39 PM by Fighting Irish
But the words of this ad really take Rudy's 9/11 megalomania to a new level. Against video of the towers falling, discussing Rudy's role in the 9/11 drama, the announcer intones ...

"And when the world wavered, and history hesitated, he never did."

2. Oh, I thought they were using the tower collapse as a visual aid to show
how his chances of becoming President are going down the toilet.

3. True--Rudy Guiliani didn't hesitate
Edited on Fri Jan-18-08 03:52 PM by rocknation
to put his terrorist command center in the dumbest possible place, ask if the 2001 mayoral elections could be postponed, or ignore firefighter and police requests for better radio communications! But he did hesitate to do one thing--disburse 911 donations to the city. He said he'd wait until March, and only the public outcry made him change his mind.

4. just watched the ad
That's AWFUL! Imagine if Hillary Clinton did this. The Mass Media would be so far down her throat... but Rudy does it and nobody cares?

5. He's a joke
The media doesn't care because they know he's a pathetic joke. Besides, start knocking Trudy Julie-Annie around and you may find two goons named Vinnie and Guido knocking on the newsroom door.

By day, he's Rudy Giuliana -- America's Mayor

By night, he's Trudy Julie-Annie -- America's Queen

8. What if a Democrat had done this?
Do we even have to ask what kind of sputtering, stammering, fake outrage-a-thon would explode from the usual dark corners of our popular media?

7. GHOULiani is even more of an apt name
Obscene. And besides that, it doesn't even make sense.

"And when the world wavered, and history hesitated, he never did."

WTF does that word salad even mean?

12. Big surprise. It's all he has.
9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11, ad nauseam.

Hopefully, after January 29, we'll never have to hear from this fraud ever again.

14. I think this can easily backfire
I'm guessing this ad is playing in Florida (please, someone correct me if this is not the case) and he's thinking about all the New Yorkers down there. The reality is that we still find these images incredibly hurtful to look at (as do many others not in NY) and even when those 9/11 movies were coming out, people here asked for them not to be shown during the normal previews everyone sees before the main feature. If it looks like he's standing on the graves of the victims, he'll catch a lot of flack (deservedly so).

For the record, Rudy makes me want to puke all over the place.

Rudy is sinister, and taking credit where he should actually be begging for forgiveness.
