Dilemma: Should I vote in the CA primary?
I know on the surface that's a stupid question. Of course one should always exert their right to participate in democracy but my problem is that I really am completely split between Obama and Clinton. At one point I was firmly with Hillary and recently I've been enthusiastic about Barack but honestly when it comes down to it, I really would be ecstatic with either of them as president and can't honestly say I prefer one to the other.

My ambivalence between the two is making me wonder whether it would be responsible for me to vote since I have no clear preference. What do you think? Flip a coin or leave those who are passionate about their votes to settle the matter?

2. Before I even saw the last part of your post, I was thinking flip a coin.
Of course, don't be surprised if you're barraged by a bunch of Edwards supporters telling you to vote for their candidate.

;)

6. Barraged? Lol
So if we like our candidate and recommend him, it's a "barrage." Okay. :hi:

3. In the whole scheme of things, they're not that far apart
despite what the partisans of each will certainly tell you, Obama and Clinton are not that far apart on the issues. It's more down to style than anything.

5. Agreed
There are some things that I agree with O more than H about and vice versa.

7. At least your vote will count.
from what I have read California is one of two states that have implemented the measures that numerous reports have recommended states employ to assure the security of our election systems. Another 12 states have implemented standard recounts of a percentage of votes to insure accuracy in the tabulation of votes. The rest to of us are not so fortunate.

I recommend that you vote for John Edwards and anti-corporatism. (Sorry! Hope I didn't give you a concussion there.) :)

12. When in doubt, vote Kucinich
But if you should make up your mind for Obama first, that's good ;)
