A Positive Campaign, Free of Negativity Will Win The General Election

A Positive Campaign, Free of Negativity Will Win The General Election FOR BUSH!!!!

Democrats can present their issues and visions until they turn blue (and they should), but if we aren't prepared to throw the mud back at Bush he will drag our nominee down. My view is that we should open up on Bush from the start, on character and substance, and not leave him alone on the whispering trail that runs through the back pages of the media. There is plenty substantive dirt about Bush's life and character that directly relates to his public conduct and we should not shy away from it.

The nominee doesn't have to take it to him directly but he should not completely disavow such efforts. The whispering smears have already begun from the Bush cabal. Stand and fight or be knuckled under. This isn't tiddlywinks.

1. You're right.
Only in a campaign will the people of this country get to know the truth about Bush*. It's patently obvious the whore media isn't going to tell.

3. I'm with you
I'll keep saying it til i'm blue in the face. Take their "issues", economy and national security and come up with a better plan. It will resonate with the big middle out there in voterland, particularly in the "swing" states.

5. Hmmm.

Squopping single winks

"The most important thing to remember when going after a single free wink is that most of the time you must aim short of the wink since if you hit it on the fly the shot will probably be too hard. The breakpoint for this distance is something between one and two inches depending on the mat and the winks. Anything shorter than this can be shot at directly, but for longer shots the squopping wink needs to hit just short of the target wink and then bounce on. It's hard to explain exactly where to aim for and a reasonable amount of practice is required to get the hang of it. Once you feel confident of making the shot you can concentrate (on the short shots) on getting on Bristollably, but your first priority should be to make the shot in the first place."

4. Good Cop/Bad Cop
Works for the GOP because they have the media/Rove to deliver the attack messages. We'll only have one guy speaking for us that'll get any ink, so we have no choice but to go negative - but walk that line & do it in a palatable way.

7. They will go negative quick enough - so we will be OK. . .
They are gonna slime slime slime slime.

So I believe people are going to see the Dems as just fighting the Republican Mean Machine.
