I don't really do that anyway. I mostly have defended Dean and his supporters here. But now I am getting the impression that it will be a board for the nominee only.

I posted a Helen Thomas op ed about Dean last night, criticized no one, just a nice article.

I was given the impression that it was now time to get over it, plus a few expletives.

Sooo....according to articles at CNN and ndol today, the party is now unified behind him.

I am not concerned about not posting *anti* articles, as I don't do much of that anyway. I guess I just figure that Dean folks, since we are not considered sensible, mostly considered heretical, will not be welcome after a certain point.....at least not to post anything about anyone other than the nominee. Is this correct?

Actually, I am none of the above, but I get the impression it won't matter soon. The fact that I support/supported Dean appears to be a negative here.

4. What makes you think I will be a Bush enabler?
Because I supported Dean and will remain active in the various groups forming from his candidacy does not mean I can't vote for the nominee.

Why do you think I want to enable Bush?

5. To help those who can't look up this info for themselves...
Here's the link to Skinner's answer on this very question.

Do you really want an answer to your question or is this just another whiny post that Dean supporters aren't welcome at DU?

7. Your comments have been repeated here ad infinitum by Dean supporters...
Fine, support Dean if you like, but this is Skinner, Elad, and Earl's board, and they make the rules.

What does whether I care or not have to do with this? To be honest, I won't lose sleep, but I cared enough to find the pertinent information that either you somehow missed or never bothered looking up in the first place.

:-)

8. Tell your buddies to quit calling good Democrats Republicans.
Dean is a conservative Democrat, yet Dean supporters insist on sliming Clark with the Bushlite stuff, and now Kerry is the recipient of it. The primary season is winding down which renders such attacks without purpose.

10. My guess is that Dean will be out campaigning for the nominee
As for DU, it seems like constructive criticism will be allowed but not right wing smears.

Sorry I missed your link to the Helen Thomas op ed. . .Sorry people were yucky about it to you.

11. Read the rules--that's not at all what they say. (Sheesh)
...Constructive criticism and even outright disappointment with the candidate may be expressed, but partisan negative attacks will not be welcome. If you wish to contribute to the defeat of the Democratic candidate for president, then you are welcome to use someone else's bandwidth on some other website. As the election season draws closer, we may expand this rule to include Democratic candidates for other political offices.

Here's to a lost art... :toast:

13. I don't do those attacks anyway.
It was not something I was asking permission to do.
