The last 8 years if I said anything out against Bush it was said that I was "Anti-American".. Well I have heard it now twice that if you say anything bad against Obama that you are a racist...
Has anyone else heard that?
I really would LOVE to see Obama come out and tell these people who are saying this that its not all about race.. now I haven't heard any of Obamas people saying this but some black people they interview on like CNN and MSNBC
Do you think that if Obama wins that anyone saying anything against his adminstrition handling things will be labeled racist?

1. Some people will say that, yes. Every time. They do now,
they will then. But then, Obama is a uniter, not a divider...right?

2. Sounds like you wrote this from a script...
I hope thats not the case. People say a lot of things. Who did you hear say you were "racist" if you didn't support Obama?

3. really? On DU? Links please to anything that
says that if you say anything against Obama you're a racist. I'm sure you'll have no problem linking to a thread where those comments were made, right?

And if Clinton's campaign hadn't started this crap, none of this would be happening.

5. No, because people of color KNOW that playing "victim" only works PERIODICALLY for
Damsels in Distress. The Clintons are shameless and will claw and scratch to rip off every scar of racial tension. Just wait until George P. Bush (Latino heritage) comes into his own. African American's viewpoints as a voting block, thanks to the combined efforts of the DLC and RNC, will be all but insignificant.

Andrew Young loves his place on the DLC's Plantation and claims that Bill Clinton is MORE BLACK than Obama because he's most likely *bedded* more Black women than Obama. :wow: Now that's something to be proud of, aye? :puke:

7. I don't think it's about saying ANYthing critical of him
just as it's not about saying ANYthing critical of Clinton that's considered sexist.

There are a lot of sensitivities about race in this country, that's for sure. To some it can be like walking on eggshells. I think his campaign and supporters are right to call out anything they find racially offensive, but they also need to be mindful of thoughts like the ones you expressed here. Similarly, Clinton's campaign and supporters need to be aware of the common reaction, "She's playing the gender card" or "feeling sorry for herself" or "playing the victim." Both campaigns should be aware of that response, I think.

9. You'll have 4 years of chaos if O gets elected. Same for Edwards....they have no idea what they're
stepping into.
