Protest Nevada debate exclusions
Yes, I mean Gravel as well as Kucinich. It shouldn't matter who your candidate is.

Complain to the Democratic National Committee

Election 2008 is listed as an issur in the drop-down menu

Complain to the Edwards campaign. Point out that the MSM will be going after him next, and it's never a good idea to sharpen the guillotine knife that will eventually be used against you.

WE'RE NOT STANDING FOR IT AGAIN!

Dear Kucinich Supporter:

The mass media cut Dennis Kucinich out of the televised debates in Iowa and again in New Hampshire. And now - after inviting Dennis to participate in the NBC/MSNBC debate in Las Vegas on Tuesday, the invitation was taken away ... TAKEN AWAY!!

We are fighting this exclusion on many fronts because we want you and the rest of America to hear Dennis on Tuesday. But we need your help in this fight. Please contribute.

We are hiring a special TV engineering truck that can send Dennis' broadcasts to all the TV and radio stations around Nevada and the rest of the country. We will even be doing a live webcast. Dennis' voice will not be silenced.

But this will cost money. Please send a contribution now.

Please help us take back the airwaves. Give the American people something better to watch on Tuesday night. Help them hear the truth.

Thank you for your support.

Strength through Peace,
The Kucinich Campaign

------------------------

Please email NBC. Feel free to copy.

NBC/MSNBC, I object to your exclusion of Congressman Dennis Kucinich from the NBC/MSNBC Presidential debate on January 15, 2008. Mr. Kucinich, whom you invited and subsequently un-invited to the debate, is a presidential candidate who has fulfilled all Federal Elections Commission Criteria.
I remind you that you have been granted a license in order to operate.
I accuse you of violating and breaching the trust given to you by that license. I accuse you of tampering with the election and attempting to change the outcome of the election by excluding Dennis Kucinich.
I demand that you include Congressman Kucinich in the NBC Democratic debate of January 15, 2008 and all subsequent debates. The majority of the American people depend on television to be informed.
I remind you, therefore that if you do not include Mr. Kucinich in the aforementioned debate, you will be inflicting damages on the American people by depriving them of their right to be informed before making their decision to vote, (in addition to other damages) and inflicting damages on the Honorable Kucinich.

Good OP, eridani

If one candidate is marginalized, they all are in my book.

5. c/c of my letter to MSNBC ...
Here is the :wtf: text (in bold):

You can count me as one of those viewers who are DISGUSTED that you would change the ground rules for inclusion in the debates specifically so as to exclude Dennis Kucinich. Including him means that issues like single-payer health care coverage, which none of the other remaining debate participants plan to pursue, will be advocated. It appears that excluding him was more out of a desire to exclude the content of his views, which differ from the 'top three' candidates than it was out of any purported concern to improve the debates and help sharpen voters decisions at the ballot box. I also find it difficult to fathom why six Democrats were, until recently, OK to have in the same debate, but now four is too many.

I think other DUers should display the text of their letters, just like the short-lived even though it was very successful activist corps at DU did.
