Last nights' debate was a start.
IMHO
After the count comes in on "Super Tuesday" we will be subjected to a long long summer of mud slinging unless we take the campaign back for the people.
I would like to see a continuation and expansion of last nights format that would bring the public into the discussion. A series of "town hall" meetings over the summer that would also include Dean and Clark could take place across the country turning the direction of the campaign around.
Up to the convention we need to come together and openly discuss the issues that will form the Democratic Platform. The biggest issue many of my conservative friends have with the Dems is that they have not yet heard any definitive solutions to the problems. We could formulate these solutions in a most public manner.
Over the summer we have the chance to explore what solutions are available in a very public manner and show the country how democracy can really work.
We should turn our backs on the bullshit emanating from the WH and show the country that we really care about what is happening and how to get out of the mess we are in.
