What Kerry should do in future about death penalty questions
The majority of Americans support it, but Kerry doesn't. What Kerry should do is defend his opinion on it, and say something like "well I'm against it, but I won't attempt to abolish it because I don't feel there's a consensus to do so in the general public." This is a similar arguement * has made about abortion.

2. I agree.
Sadly. :(

I'm against the DP. But we cannot debate about this now. We must win back the WH.

3. OR
"I really feel the issue of the death penalty is a state issue. Like the definition of marriage, the death penalty should be left to state legislatures to decide. It would not be fair for me or Bush to force our values on states like Texas or on states like Massachusetts. Our job is to lead, not to circumvent state governments."

4. That's a sound idea.
Email the campaign and see if anyone will listen.

7. I also have a way for him to get around
the fact that he said he'd support an anti-gay marriage Mass state Constitutional Amendment if it had a provision legalizing Civil Unions. He should say that this is what I believe personally, and as a Mass. Senator, this is what I feel is best for my state. Does that mean I'll push this on the federal leval? Of course not, because each state should have the right to decide itself. We do this with gun control and driver's license requirements for teenagers, and we don't have state conflicts like the GOP is predicting.

6. Why not?
If he has found a way to half-kill someone, I say we not only make him President, but nominate him for godhood ;)
