I think the public is much more engaged because the contest is not decided.

2. More importantly, fewer people will have the opportunity to feel disenfranchised.

If nothing else, a long race would get people more interested in the race and fewer people would feel that their votes are meaningless.

More interest could lead to better turnout in November.

I don't think 2 states should get to decide the nominee. I was glad Clinton won NH because it made it a race and now the candidates will have to earn the nomination.

If Obama had won NH, I think he would've swept his way to the nomination as Kerry did in 2004.

I think the public will benefit because, at some point, a focus on the candidate's stance on the issues at hand will have to trump personality (I would hope!)
