Alabama Poll: Obama 36%, Clinton 34%, Edwards 9%
There is a large MOE of 6%, so the race is essentially tied. 20 percent are undecided for this Feb 5th contest.



Voters were asked which primary they plan to vote in on Feb. 5 and who would they vote for if the election were held at the time of being polled.

The results show Obama, a U.S. senator from Illinois, with 36 percent, and Clinton, a Democratic U.S. senator from New York and former First Lady, with 34 percent.

“Clinton and Obama race is now statistically even, with a substantial number of undecided,” pollster Gerald Johnson said Friday.

The poll has a margin of error of 6 percentage points. Twenty-one percent, or one in five polled, were undecided.

Former North Carolina U.S. Sen. John Edwards polled 9 percent with 1 percent choosing “other

10. Its because the black vote is all going to Obama and Hillary
Even in North and South Carolina he is only at 6% among black voters.
