I would probably be supporting Clinton if president Bill were suddenly out of the picture, but the fact that it will be a Billary presidency makes the case for Hillary twice as strong for me. It was a successful Billary presidency in the 90s, it's going to be another Billary presidency if she's elected. Works for me.

6. Just so I fully understand
How is it that you want him not to come back? Do you want him to become so enamored with Islamic law that he moves to Saudi Arabia? Or are you calling for the assassination of a Democratic former president wjho left with the highest approval rate ever? I mean this is a Democratic-centred website so it's a strange question to ask but I get the feeling I'm not wrong whether you'll admit it or not.

5. No needless war and what happened in the 90s again?
Edited on Fri Jan-11-08 03:53 PM by dmallind
Millions of people fewer in poverty.

Median wage soared in real terms (and nominal terms of course)

Lowest unemployment in decades

First government surplus since Kennedy

23 million new jobs

Yeah gotta hate that "Billary" (not my term of choice but hey) hellish economy for middle class folks.

7. What happens when they disagree on policy?
Who will prevail?

Will Bill go over her head to the press? The Congress? Her cabinet?

Could be real messy - unless, of course, Bill has gotten his ego under control while I wasn't looking.
