5. I will never forget the glee on the DC pundits as the Clintons left the White House.

And those were the supposedly LIBERAL pundits!

While the Republic crowds chanted, "the hillbillies are gone, the hillbillies are gone." And they started making up stories about (white-)trashing the place and stealing the silverware.

More than at any other time they showed the true reason for their hostility to Bill Clinton. "Anybody can grow up to be president," was supposed to be a myth. The American public gave Bill a key to their blue-blood club, and they reviled him for it.

7. They reviled his popularity no matter
what they threw at him. How do we beat this guy? grrrrrrr.

and then there were plenty of moral police who wanted him to suffer of course.

4. Yes, that's perfect
Wish I had thought of it. Rummy as Drysdale is good too. Didn't they have a son who was spoiled rotten? Mitt Romney perhaps.

2. Elly Mae was pretty smart
Dana is more like Mr. Drysdale, thoughthtless, narrow minded, clueless to her surroundings, and very spoiled her entire life.
