Hillary played major role in outsourcing jobs to India
Edited on Fri Jan-11-08 12:56 PM by catgirl

People should know who the candidates are. Hillary claims she recently found her voice, yet she still
doesn't mean what she says. This is response to her "concerns" for the jobless and the ailing economy.
Here are a bunch of links I just googled (including an older DU post). Interesting little connection here:
Tata Motors, who will soon release the cheapest "car", is owned by Tata Group-the company that also
owns Tata Consultancy (see links below). It seems Hillary was a major cheerleader for this Indian co.
for self-serving reasons.

"People should know who the candidates are."
Yes. But your love affair with Free Republic isn't helping your candidate.

27. Read post 9

I don't appreciate your accusation. You're obviously upset by my post
that truthfully shares something that Hillary promoted with ulterior
motives. Let's not twist this around to distract from my message. I
posted many links. No, I don't know ANY of the RW sites. I have better
things to do with my time.

I haven't posted here in a while because of flamers. This info., however,
is too important and I didn't see it posted. I could see you getting upset
if the info. was false, but unfortunately this is true about Hillary. I can't
turn a blind eye to this injustice.

I had no clue these were RW blogs. Hm. Care to comment on the actual post?
I'd love to hear a Hillary supporters opinion on the role she played in promoting
this company?

13. Michigan has been devastated by outsourcing via NAFTA/GAT
If Hillary wants to run as an incumbant and rely on her husband's record then she takes the good with the bad.

15. If I am not mistaken
Obama supported the "Peru free trade agreement", although he played it safe and missed the vote. Don't you also see that it will be the same thing, and we will lose jobs in this agreement also? Not to mention all those in Perus who will lose jobs and end up coming here to find work and help surpress wages in this country, just like what happened with our free trade in Mexico! Don't get me wrong Hillary supported this also, and they are "BOTH" wrong!

11. we have to outsource because collage is too expensive for the middle class , the gov has privatized
collage loans and cut grants and services for the under class.. we just are not graduating the people we need .. and after NCLB we will not have many students qualified to enter collage..

the NCLB pilot program in TX covered up the stats that proved the program a failure, it had a 40% to 48% high school dropout rate...

is anyone surprised of another Bu$h lie resulting in catastrophic consequences for the entire nation..??

25. Maybe the reason we're not "graduating the people we need"
is that students are increasingly reluctant to major in engineering or computer science, since they know they'll wind up with $200K debts, years of hard work and still see their job outsourced to India? Outsourcing is counterproductive to having a strong domestic educational and technology sector.

26. Attacking the messenger...

I can assure you I'm no "weasel". I happen to be an ex-Buffalonian. I saw
it all unfold. In light of Hillary's latest plan for the economy, I thought it
important to share what I know to be facts. I welcome you to respond to
Hillary's deep involvement with Tata, otherwise I'd appreciate you not
attacking me.

But any time you try to talk about it, the Hillarities attack you as racist. Considering the comments coming out of their campaign, that's pretty hilarious, right?

Edited on Fri Jan-11-08 06:36 PM by bvar22

Hillary has pledged to INCREASE the outsourcing of American jobs to India and INCREASE H1B visas to allow BIG BUSINESS to import more low wage foreign workers.

And Democrats laugh at Republicans for voting against their economic interests!

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those
who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners) at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.
