Not whining....just wondering
I've posted about http://www.dearmary.com in both GD and GD 2004, and both have sunk immediately. Am I the only one who thinks that the site is really innovative and interesting use of the internet in an election year? Has this already been played out and I missed the boat?

Just wondering...

Do you think we should get involved if we don't have a dog in the fight? Hetero and PRO gay marriage...?

Edit: I do have a dog in the fight.

It tolls for thee"
I'm sorry. Restricting the equal rights of some restricts equal rights for all.

7. I think we all have a dog in the fight
If we proport to espouse a humanist point of view. I can see how some are offended by dragging her into it, but she's got to be one of the highest profile married gay people in politics right now. And she's been acting as a paid liason to be the GLBT community for her dad's campaign.

2. My take
I don't like the name of the site, ok maybe it's shallow, but I just don't like the name. So that's why I wouldn't go there.

But as for why posts sink, maybe people have nothing to say but do go to the link, I have found myself that information posts do sink quickly. I have posted a couple of threads in general discussion about what I thought are cool political websites and no one responded.

3. I posted it on another thread and got this response
a request to not bring the kids into disputes regarding the sins of their fathers. It made some sense to me even if I didn't want it to. Maybe that's why you're not getting much response.

5. I saw it
but I don't think this is a particularly effective approach.

8. Truly, it's not about me..
I just thought that it would be something that people would care about. Sometimes things can get lost in a heavy news day, as they all seem to be lately.
