Edited on Thu Jan-10-08 09:05 PM by elizm
It was a sight to see. South Carolina is Obama country!!! :) Mayor Riley of Charleston gave a moving endorsement today, former Governor of SC has endorsed Obama, and former SC Democratic Party Chair has endorsed Obama. It is ALL GOOD. And SC will OVERWHELMINGLY go for Obama...BANK on it. :)

5. It was so awesome to have Kerry there...
And he spoke about his belief that Obama had the experience that he needed...that "He can be, he will be and he should be" our next President. Of course, I cry at every Obama event...but this one was REALLY special. :)

3. Sounds like fun
You are so lucky. I wish I could have been there. They showed it on the news and it looks like there was a lot of energy.

By February 5th, everywhere will be Obama Country!

4. I loved that the crowd was as diverse as ever. n/t
I think the pundits are wrong that Obama's winning depends strictly on the black vote. I think people may be shocked to see how the white vote breaks down.

7. That is good to hear
I hope you will keep us regularly posted on the mood on the ground. It sure helps when dealing with all the garbage on the cable news. Glad you got to be there. It looked like an awesome event.

12. You know...my 7th Obama event...
And this one time I left my camera at home....Figured there will be plenty of pictures online. We've got less than 3 weeks until our primary here in SC....and my life belongs to winning SC for Obama. :)
