1. At least no one can say he thinks he won the primary
and is crying sour grapes. Dennis really cares about ballot integrity. Challenges like this one will make it harder for the GOP to try and steal the election in November, I think.

9. Ron Paul is frightening
Considering what his policies would do to the nation.

But if this is true, it might be the smoking gun that will bring about vote accountability.

That said, I'm not holding my breath.

7. ... Why?
I don't see the reason for this? Aside from making himself look like a lunatic crank.

“This is not about my candidacy or any other individual candidacy. It is about the integrity of the election process.”

...

Bullshit. It's about getting your name in print and playing to the choir.

Kuch '08 is nothing more than a vanity campaign and nothing more.

19. I don't understand what is wrong with vigilantly guarding the electoral process....
Seems to me there have been several dubious electoral results in recent years. Just sayin'

So they investigate and find nothing wrong. Is that a loss for anyone? Is anyone hurt by that?

So it is lunatic cranks who guard our democracy?

Better word: heroes.

31. You know it was the cranks among the greens who kept pressing in OH
in 2004, NOT our people. In the end some people WENT TO JAIL... but I am sure you knew that.

Why is it that clean elections scare people so much?

26. I've always liked Kucinich. I admire him still very much Just not sure of his motives just now.
Edited on Thu Jan-10-08 10:25 PM by Skip Intro
I can't think of anything I disagree with him on, he'd be a great president. But we all know he's not going to be nominated and the only reason I can see is that many have concluded that he is unelectable. In the General Election. If the repukes can paint a war hero as soft on terrorism, what could they do to a guy who proposes a Dept of Peace? I'm not slamming the idea, just recognizing that much of the electorate, after the repuke spin, would not buy it. That's too bad, but it is a fact, imho.

But yeah, I've always liked him.

On edit, he seems now to be doing things to affect the outcome of the race rather than persuade people to his message. That's what I'm talking about that bothers me a little.

we don't want no stinking discoveries of hanky panky... not as long as my (insert candidate here) is winning I don't care bout clean elections.

This is the attitude that makes me wonder if American Democracy will survive this test

16. Even though I suspect he will turn up nothing...
Perhaps his efforts will help prevent future problems....OR
Perhaps his efforts will be interpreted as: "...typical conspiracy theorist who wastes everyones time but let's get this over with anyway and hopefully we won't have to go through this again!"

I suppose I am straddling the fence on this, but what's done is done, history will be Kucinich's judge on this one.

Personally, I secretly hope Dennis finds something juicy....something along the lines of fraud regarding Ron Paul's actual vote count! How FUN would THAT be!!

20. Ya know...I am with you there but...
.... It is my sincerest hopes that Dennis turns up something scandalous lest we be labeled the party who cries wolf. That could be ...mmm... a bit of a handicap. I wish it was Ron Paul instead who had asked for that recount, (you gotta know RPs supporters are fillin' up on the popcorn over this recent development!)

I just noticed that Ron Paul and Ross Perot have the same initials... now ain't that somthin!

29. As a Hillary supporter, now I support NH recount...
Because if MSM learn about such crazy accusation, it will only hurt Obama.
I posted as a new thread and moved to new col.
Well, this thread is allowed. So here it is.

I tried to reason some of crazy Obama supporter.
Some of them are already talking about voting for Bloom-berg if Hillary win.

By now I really am sick of Obama but I would not even think about not voting for him if he becomes a candidate.

I am really tired of some of Obama supporters here.
I just hope they won't scream voting fraud if Hillary win some other states again.

30. FYI some of us who want electoral accountability are NOT OBAMA or HILLARY
supporters

In this case, my dog is... election transparency.

I could care less who wins or looses AS LONG as the vote is clean and transparent

So not all who are for clean elections are (insert candidate here) supporters or detractors...

In my view... MAKING SURE the process is clean this early in the process will only assure us that the process IS clean. and if we find any hanky panky... time to correct it... NOW... after all it took how long to get those in OH convicted of anything?

33. THAT'S why we need Dennis in the race
He do the things that seem batshit crazy for "the big 3™" to do without having to worry about affecting his position in the polls.

He can raise the issues that the others won't touch.

He may be little more than a flack to most people at this point, but he's a real American hero.

38. Wow. Don't you care if the votes are counted?
Regardless of who asks or why they ask...isn't the important thing to make sure our elections are worth the time we take to cast our vote and that those votes go for the candidate they were in tended to go to?

I can't believe after all the crap since 2000 that ANYONE would have a problem with this.

Dennis isn't concerned about how things look as much as getting to the truth of things. Something I think the top three could work on IMO.
