Remember Kerry Applogizing For That Army Joke?
Can he please just go away and stop making statements? He helps nobody. He never new how to handle the media and just makes a spectacle of himself. No one wants his endorsement. At the very least, it should have been for Edwards because of what they went through. Kerry blows like the wind.

2. I dare say Obama seems to be pleased
why have him at the event if he's not happy to get the endorsement.

5. That's not fair,
Kerry's a good guy and shouldn't be bashed, especially over that dumb joke thing. I'd be delighted if he'd endorsed Clinton.

6. Oh you mean that comment that Hillary Clinton
along with her fellow republican John McCain were the first to throw him under the bus for making?

7. Yes! That's right!
She really stabbed him in the back after that remark. It's probably one of the reasons why he didn't run this time around, not that it was the main reason.

I also think Teresa had a lot to do with his endorsement as well. I know she hasn't forgiven Hillary either.

8. Yep
the same statement that Howard Dean made, until he revised it much later. I didn't like it from either of them.

Do you ever have anything positive to say? Kerry is an good man and a great representative of liberal values. Anybody who gets his endorsement should be honored.

16. If Nelson Mandela endorsed Obama, fightindonkey would have
two threads on the communist tendencies of the ANC, a thread suggesting that Mandela may have ratted out his fellow political prisoners for food, and six threads decrying the influence of foreigners on American elections.

The guys is completely off the wall.

19. Grow up.
John Kerry has a very long and very distinguished record of public service, all the way from protesting the Vietnam War to the Iran-Contra and BCCI investigations. Just because you think the world was created in 2004 doesn't mean you can discount his entire career.

And John Kerry has more credibility in the gunk under his thumbnail than you do.

20. Come now, Kerry is a fine man...
He could have run a better campaign, but he's a good egg. It would have been nice if he had endorsed Clinton but he didn't. I disagree with him on his choice of endorsement, but it does not diminish him one iota in my eyes. Congrats to Obama for securing his endorsement.

As to the Army comment...it was ill~advised but I am certain he didn't mean anything disrespectful~~~just a human error where he put his foot in his mouth. How many of us have done that countless times? Clinton should not have jumped on the band~wagon, and perhaps he might have endorsed her.

21. He was his running mate, not his wife
Candidates are thrown together on tickets EVERY FOUR FREAKING YEARS. If the ticket doesn't win, they're not obligated beyond that.

Kerry made a choice, and he chose Obama. That's politics. Tough titty.

You would be kissing Kerry's butt if he endorsed Clinton. But since he is endorsing Obama, instead of Clinton, he is no good and you automatically have to put him down. :eyes:
