Do any of these media personalities like Dowd and Paglia have intelligent criticisms of Hillary?
Because we haven't heard them yet. All we've heard is criticism of her thighs, her "standing by her man" schtick, her tears.

WHAT ABOUT HER POLICY!?

This is why I can't stand people posting crap from those prima donnas here. They have nothing intelligent to add to the debate, so why should anyone care what they think about ANY of the candidates?????

Rant off.

9. I find it more odd
that a 61 year old woman is claiming only 35 years experience.

ya know there is no guidelines for what qualifies as experience for the Whitehouse.

The truth is she HAS been working for the public interest since she was 26 years old. That is 35 years experience in MY book.

Just as I, as a 47 year old woman tell people I have 26 years experience in graphics when I apply for a job as an art director.

In truth I've only been an "art director" as a title for 11 months --but should I throw 26 years in the graphics profession out as qualifications?

2. Expecting something intelligent
from Paglia or Dowd is a bit of a lost cause I would think.

My next door neighbor's niece (she's eight years old) had a very cogent thought about all this kind of crap at breakfast this morning.

"Auntie, I think it's stupid when people attack Hillary for stuff that women do all the time. Don't they see it works backwards?"

3. They are gossip columnists. Do any female political analysts get Times jobs or
the prominence these light weights get?

Of course Katrina van den Heuval gets some coverage and has an outlet. Who are the others?

6. Basically, all of them who criticize her not because of her policy proposals, but her appearance,
behavior and mannerisms.

Expecting a higher level of discussion from those who think Paris Hilton's latest exploits is "news" is expecting a bit much, I know.

11. Marie Coco is off Newsday and writing by other means. Ruth Marcus has been pretty good at the WP...
lately. But Marcus is no liberal - but not a conservative either.

For foreign affairs, try out Trudy Rubin on the Philly Inquirer.

4. If You Want Intelligent Criticism, Look Here
That is why DU exists! Of course, there's some garbage to sort through, but most of it is useful, timely and educational, not to mention thought and action-provoking!

5. Dowd, Paglia, and Matthews.
If these three were hanging over a cliff and I could only save one, I would simply walk away.

12. Dowd hate any woman with a husband, period.
She hates that Hillary got to have a career and be married. She hates Michelle Obama cause she has a career and is married to Barack, whom she obviously has a big crush on.

Paglia doesn't even matter anymore.
