Easiest Republicans To Beat In Order
Edited on Thu Jan-10-08 10:58 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
Easiest to Hardest

1) Mitt Romney- His slash and burn politics is almost as grating as his vacuousness...

2) Rudy Giuliani -9/11 luster wearing off as voters learn he philandered on the government's dime and has a bunch of corrupt friends...Unlike The Big Dog he didn't even try to conceal his affairs...

3) Fred Thompson- Too lethargic and enervated...

4) The Huckster- Bush Pere, Bush*, and Reagan were able to hold the Fundy votes without scaring the normal folks... The Huckster scares the bejeesus out of just about everybody who's not a Fundy...

5) John McCain- Our nightmare...The press loves him...They will give him the benefit of the doubt at every turn...His major draw back is he is as old as Methusaleh...

3. None Of Them Are Perfect
I saw a well done, photoshopped photo that had McCain's hand on Bush*'s crotch... It was odd because I didn't have the untouched photo to compare it to... I said "what they hell" to myself...

2. Don't know about this.
It all depends on who we put up.

4. Rudy might be slightly easier than Romney as he is more gaffe prone.
But they are both hella easy.

It was a seat of my pants analysis... I think I did identify their strengths and weaknesses...

That's the order.

8. Paul's the only one that somewhat scares me
Lots of buzz, grassroots support, ability to attract independents.

If he were the nominee, typical cons would eventually come around to him. He's the only one that has any kid of buzz.

Giuliani would be the easiest to beat. Romney could be somewhat scary.

Thompson, Huck and McCain are DOA.

9. He gets 10% support in the republican primary.
And if anyone looks at what he's said or done, he's finished.

7. McCain
Based on his treatment by the press over resent months he may very well have the best chance, but he also has a weakness the rest do not. Electing McCain is the closest thing there is to re-electing Bush for a third term. If he ends up their nominee, this needs to be repeated over and over. If you loved Bush's war, loved Bush's economic policy, and loved his immigration package, then McCain is your man. But if you do not want four more years (and that would probably be all McCain could last), how about a change.
