No sour grapes here on the Kerry endorsement, but a question
Obama (and his supporters) have often cited the key to his victory will be Republican and Independent votes.

Kerry is quite unpopular in the ranks of the GOP. Does this hurt Obama?

1. He needs help with the rank-and-file, that's where this matters
The indies and moderate Pubs will be fine.

3. Hurts Edwards
More than it helps Obama. (Though it won't help Obama's appearance as a fresh face change agent)

Won't effect Hillary at all.

Or participate in society. Or actual campaigns.

9. In 2004 when Kerry needed help with his campaign, whom did
he turn to? Whom did Kerry ask to campaign for him in Philadelpia that came out of his convalescence from heart surgery to campaign in a tight Pa. race and helped Kerry carry Pa.?

Mr. Kerry drew rousing cheers when he stated: "Isn't it great to have Bill Clinton back on the trail?'' Kerry drew cheers of delight when he said that he had asked Clinton “if there’s anything you have in common with George W. Bush? He thought for a moment and he said, ’In eight days and 12 hours, we will both be former presidents.”’

In his first public appearance after heart surgery Clinton said "I'm very grateful to be here today, and I want to thank all the people of Philadelphia and throughout the country for their emails and prayers and letters of support,'' he said. "From time to time I have been called the Comeback Kid. In 8 days though, John Kerry is going to make America the comeback country.''
