Did anyone watch ABC's hit piece on Obama this morning?
I didn't catch the whole thing - only parts. Report on ABC Good Morning America about his involvement with some shady real estate agent or something along those lines.

Obvious hit piece, I was disgusted even though I'm a Kucinich supporter. MSM is awful.

Noam Chomsky is right. Consent out there is truly manufactured.

4. this should not come as a surprise
and we should all expect this kind of BS for the next 10 months. This is exactly the kind of thing they (MSM, GOP) have done to every Dem candidate forever. The difference is, do they fight back this time???

If there is nothing there then BOH needs to be screaming that from the rooftops and proving it. If HRC gets the nomination then you KNOW they will bring up the Whitewater BS as well.

THIS IS WHAT THEY DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

stop complaining about it and start fighting back - send any news outlet that spews this BS about ANY CANDIDATE an email - one might not make a difference but thousands will.

Shit sells and the MSM knows it - it is just always our shit and not the GOP:nuke:

6. Only a "hit piece" if it's false, otherwise it's fair game.

7. I caught it as I was heading out the door to work
The timing of the report is interesting. :sarcasm: Makes me wonder if this is coming from his Dem opponent(s). But Obama has to learn to endure crap like this if he wants to be elected.

10. The MSM did everything it could against Gore and Kerry
so please don't blame Hillary for any attacks against Obama.

The MSM will go after EVERY Dem it thinks has a chance of winning.

11. Makes you wonder?
So are Chris Matthew's attacks coming from Obama or Edwards or other Democrat opponents against Hillary? No. And anyone who believes so needs to get their tinfoil hats out.

You are right, Obama will have to learn to endure this kind of crap, just as other candidates have (Edwards and the constant attacks against him about being a "pretty boy" or his $400 haircuts, for example).

It's what happens when you run for public office. Every business deal, every campaign contributor, every possible sexual peccadillo (again, poor John Edwards getting accused of having an affair while his wife was recovering from breast cancer, for Goodness's sake!) will be scrutinized by the media and by the opposing party. I would MUCH rather these things get addressed in the primary season before we have a nominee, than a "bombshell" :sarcasm: expose' like this coming out on the eve of the general election.

Part of the reason I think Hillary is a good choice is that I can't think of an aspect of her life that hasn't already been investigated -- when the Repugs bring those old things up, the American people will yawn because it's old news. And hopefully if Obama gets the nomination and the Repugs try to bring this up, the American people will also yawn -- because it came out now and not closer to election.

9. The media are spineless kow towers...
When Obama was ahead, they were attacking Hillary and doing hit pieces on her.

Now that Hillary is ahead, and they know that they treated Hillary like dirt, they
know they must be restored to proper standing in her mind.

The media kiss the butt of whomever they believe will be in power. Plain and simple.

They ignore candidates, to please the frontrunners--to curry favor with those who will
have the power in the future.

Most media members are a bunch of kow-towing, shameless bastards.

I'll tell you one thing though--there is a great deal of contempt for Hillary Clinton in
the media. When they thought she would lose NH, it was if the dam broke and the emotion
was finally released. They couldn't trounce on her enough. Hillary does not like the media
and she treats them with disdain, and they don't like her either.

However, look at em all now! Now that Hillary is back on top again, the media are back to
doing her bidding and dissing Obama--and Hillary can now use them to prop up her agenda.

This entire process is so revolting. It's like watching a bunch of parasites, feed off of
each other.

12. You can watch it on the ABC website
I found it on the Good Morning America homepage: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/

It's a 3-minute report on Obama's links with someone called Rezco (?)

Apparently this guy helped Obama get a good deal on his house in Chicago.

Obama already admitted on the record that it was "a bone-headed mistake" on his part.

I don't think there is anything here that will cause serious damage.

But putting this stuff on national TV does not help Obama, to say the least.

13. I wonder
if the piece was flagged to go, prior to the NH primary (regardless of the outcome)...
