2. stressing trends, a december poll showed him at 6%

It also shows that Edwards has a chance in FL if he gets a break.

4. The only way we won't come in third is if Obama or Clinton drop out
I hope that when (not if) he comes in third in South Carolina, which he won in 2004, his supporters will start facing reality.
I love the guy but there is no reason not to face reality on this. There is no reason to get excited about third.

7. Third above 15% means delegates.
not Florida, given they are stripped, but to think that third is nothing ignores how important something rather than nothing is. Long term, it is vitally important.

14. I dunno about that
This is a grassroots campaign, not a media blitz.

5. As much as I love John, in the long run it might be strategically more important
for his supporters to vote for Obama to stop Hillary. IMO she will not be the kind of improvement this country desperately needs. She is deep down a part of the corporatocracy -- we can do better!

8. Why would you say that?
She finished with 39% last night, which was exactly where she was at before Iowa.

11. Obama supporters need to face reality
Iowa mattered. The spin about pre-Iowa expectations won't cut the mustard.

16. In order of preference: Kucinich, Edwards, and Obama! HRC doesn't make the
cut in my opinion. Of course, I prefer Edwards to Obama, but in the long run I think we must look to preventing Clinton from being our candidate because A. she is dangerous (if you don't believe me listen to her speech to AIPAC a few months ago) and B. she is the most likely to lose in the GE. Obama doesn't have completely clean money, but I believe his community organizing background will lead him to be more liberal than Clinton. Clinton is thoroughly compromised -- so far, I haven't seen Obama doing photos with Murdoch nor has he been on the cover of Forbes as the corporatocracy's darling. As much as you I would love to see Edwards get traction, but as both he and Obama are the anti-Hillary, dividing the vote could lead to disaster.

15. When the Senator announces that he is out and backing candidate X
I will make that decision, and rest assured that ABC is in play and it will be Senator Obama.

Until then, I stand firmly behind Senator Edwards and his message.

17. And as much as I "love" Obama
I think the best thing for him to do is drop out after "two" races, and let Edwards win the nomination. It's the best thing since Edwards has been shown in the polls to beat all the republicans. :spank:

9. All opinions given are just that - opinions - based on speculation. This is a historic race
with no previous similar primary's to measure against.

There is no benchmark because this is a "first"

The voters must continue to hear that they have a choice, and that if the M$M pundits over salivated about Obama, and got it wrong....what else is the media wrong about?????????

Re-framing the message to do an end-around the M$M is our job, at the grassroots. Letters to the editor are in order, en mass, right now.

We are Team Edwards, and we need to get our game face on and get to work.
