Congratulations to Hillary and her supporters in NH....

It's been a long campaign with alot of ups and downs for Barack Obama, but even though it looked good toward the end, Hillary's people got more people to show up at the polls and vote. (A lesson for us all).
So,let me extend my congratulations to all the Hillary supporters on DU. She done good.

2. I've held out for Gore, but I'll have to make a decision on Super

Tuesday when my state votes. I've lately been leaning to Edwards (and Kucinich for Speaker of the House.) But I've been warming to Hillary, mainly because inside the promises and hype we get from all candidates, she sometimes mentions the grim realities we face.

Her "emotional" speech had three parts: first, about herself; second about herself and Obama; but then she said something that was sometimes omitted on TV. She said she knew what was going on and that we were facing an array of problems which could spiral out of control.

I think that is the grim truth, and I wish we would get more of it. For example, in 2011, the middle of the next administration, we get the first of the on-coming Social Security crises - it ceases to be a cash cow for the budget.

3. Hillary's GOTV organization in NH was amazing!!

Everyone was blown away by the support we on the ground volunteers received from the state HQ's.
