Watched it with my 20-year-old. His eyes were teary, too. In that speech, Obama wrapped his arms around the whole country. Yes we can! YES WE CAN!

This was too preachy and too long. A speech like this has a place when you win, but Obama didn't. This isn't a stump speech or a victory speech, and once again Obama refused to go into specifics and instead engaged in platitudes. I give him a 6.
