It was the cry.
She won it by crying. Can she cry her way to the general?

4. It wasn't the crying. It was the vicious attack on her for appearing
tired and emotional.

The MSM thought they would get the same reaction they got 4 and 8 years ago by attacking the Clintons and it backfired...Matthews and Fox News at the top of the list..

10. It may have been. BUT, that was a one-shot deal.
If she tries to play the softy continually, it will backfire.

The BIG difference is that New Hampshire is in the Northeast and Iowa is in the Midwest. I never really believed those most recent NH polls anyhow.

11. It wasn't "the cry." It was the over-the-top, snarky, hateful reaction to 'the cry."
Crying is nothing new among politicians (and, for the record, she didn't cry. She got emotional and her voice broke). But the reaction from the pundits (and Edwards, shame on him) was outrageous. I really believe that many voters got pissed off by the ridiculous reaction and showed they "had her back" by voting for her.
