Interesting Factoid: 2008 will be the first election since 1952
in which neither candidate was an incumbent President or Vice-President. Essentially, the first "open seat" election in 56 years

1. And what's doubly amazing is that given that, there aren't more prominent Reps in the running
You'd think a few more Senators and Governors would take a shot at it. My feeling is, they all know the Republican candidate doesn't have a prayer in November.
