Anyone catch Andrew Sullivan on the Colbert Report?
I think his comments are spot on and why I believe Obama will do well in the general if he wins the nomination.

I'm in conservative Utah and if it's Obama against Huckabee, you may just see Utah flip, because I'm hearing a lot of Utahns saying they will support Obama if it's not Romney on the Republican side.

9. Sullivan is a well-known wing-nut. If you are agreeing with him, you're being had.
How in the world can Democrats support a candidate that people like Sullivan, Limbaugh, O'Reilly and Scarborough are supporting?

The GOP does NOT want us to win this election. The candidate they want for us is probably not the one we want for ourselves.

11. They did in '04. Remember, Sullivan backed Kerry.
And Sullivan said he'd back ANY of the Democrats. So does that mean we can't vote for them now?

10. Sullivan has evolved politically dramatically over Junior's WH reign of terror.
He is an intelligent man who expresses himself very well, and he is a good advocate for Obama. I think Sullivan embodies those Americans that are throwing party affiliation aside and evolving into our better selves.
