Why the hell are some of you sounding like FOX NEWS? On both sides people have their heads up their rumps. People are deliberately contorting what Hillary did and others are quoting Edwards out of context. There are enough valid reasons pro and con to support or dislike any of our candidates without anyone making garbage up.C'mom people.Lets judge the candidates on their merits , not crap generated by the MSM, and that goes for all sides in the Democratic Primary!

1. Obama didn't dis her; Edwards clearly did.
It was a cheap shot unworthy of a Presidential candidate.

4. He did not if you read the quote in context. You are falling into the MSM trap.

10. I don't know whether he did or didn't
But I sure do know the OP is trying to throw Obama in with the supposed smear.

2. Agree on point 1 and half of 2. Obama was fine. Edwards...not so much.
He started to talk about required toughness for POTUS in the same breath with "no comment"

6. I just posted this on another thread
excerpt:

At a New Hampshire campaign event, presidential rival John Edwards told reporters he was unaware of Clinton's emotional reaction and would not respond to it, but added, according to CNN's Dugald McDonnell: "I think what we need in a commander in chief is strength and resolve, and presidential campaigns are a tough business, but being President of the United States is also a very tough business. And the President of the United States is faced with very, very difficult challenges every single day, difficult judgments every single day."

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/01/07/clinton-gets-emotional-at-new-hampshire-stop/

Some posters like to make mountains out of molehills. This not only applies to the reaction by some to the Edwards response but to the way some posters reacted to Hillary showing a little emotion.

8. Oh brother
Defend Hillary because you're afraid of some remarks by Edwards, and try to spread Edwards' smear to Obama, even though he hasn't said a word.

People are absolutely amazing.

And I'm the one who gets called filthy names around here. Too funny.

11. I have never called you a "filthy name", and I am afraid of nothing Edwards has said.
And I have defended Hillary before. As I stated perviously when I spoke out about her debate performance , unfair is unfair no matter who it is directed at.

14. Even KO lied and said Hillary was crying. I expected better from him.
No one who sees that video can say Hillary was crying, nor even that her eyes teared up. And yet Keith Olberman jumped on the lie-wagon today and specifically "accused" of her of crying -- meaning either that he reports on things without knowing whether they are true or not, or that he deliberately lies in order to make a candidate look bad.

Neither option makes Keith Olberman look fair or objective -- or nice, for that matter -- but one of them is true.

16. I watched that video at least ten times today!!!
YES SHE DID get teary eyed and choked up!! You would too if you were as tired as these candidates are. She did a very good job of quick composure, therefore she had nothing to be embarassed about. As for John Edwards, I only know what I've read here. I didn't hear his comments, but I'll be listening for them. He can have a sharp tongue at times while still smiling. That's one thing that bothers me about him!!

18. And then continued by saying she attacked Obama. Whatever she said THEN
was legit campaigning. Unlike the other thing "but wait, it gets worse" - with the fearmongering - that was BAD from Hillary - I agreed with him.
But I was disappointed in KO tonight
